From The Womb to the Tomb - stop motion short
I'm working as the art director on a stop-motion short called "From the Womb to the Tomb". The story takes place in a dark dystopian future and elaborates on topics such as mortality and fear of aging.
Even though the theme is a bit dark everybody can relate to it. The stop motion medium is basically the art of bringing inanimate objects to life which is very fitting for the theme.
We are working really hard to realize this project, and hope you will enjoy our prototype teaser trailers.

We are very encouraged as Cartoon Brew has always been a place that features aspiring animators with ambitious animation projects. And we believe our project is worth it being made.
We have started a kickstarter campaign a few days ago:
It was a great launch and some really cool film-makers supported the project. Kickstarter staff-picked us in animation and we've got tons of positive feedback. However after the initial momentum it lost speed and now we need to find a way to get back on track.
We've got even more inspired now when we saw you featured another amazing stop-motion project: http://www.cartoonbrew.com/crowdfund-fridays/help-brett-foxwell-complete-fabricated-a-stop-motion-film-10-years-in-the-making-91928.html which we previously supported.
We really believe we can create an important piece of art and your support would really make this thing closer to reality! And hopefully inspiring a lot of readers of cartoon brew to move towards their dreams and realize their biggest animation projects.
Thanks so much for taking a moment to have a look at our project!
